The ecology of humanity -- that is not simply the environment, but literally the ecology of humans, how we derive means for our basic needs, our human habitat and human niches, the economy and so forth -- can be described technically as ecocidal, bluntly as killing everything including ourselves. There is much confusion about this and overtime background info will be presented here. But you already know the situation's whack, so let's proceed with the solutions...

Firestick Creative is a design studio, incubator, lab and launch pad for
human-ecology solutions — harmonode solutions.

Harmonodes

Harmonodes are ecologically optimized facilities and landscapes — housing units, farms, laundromats, or any other unit/sub-system of infrastructure.

Harmonodes achieve synergy using innovative techniques and technologies designed in accordance with ecological principles, and are far more efficient and effective than the conventional infrastructure of this age.

The burgeoning field of ecological design has, over the last 40 years, developed remarkably effective ways of meeting human needs by using ecology as a strategy in redesigning the physical systems that provide for these needs, demonstrated in the first harmonodes.

Vision

If the emergent instances of harmonodes over the last few decades are pioneers of the next major trends in infrastructure and economic development, then we'll be looking at cities and towns becoming optimal human habitat.

No longer would we need to exploit wildlife habitat to compensate for the inadequacies of our own.

Never has civilization provided humans optimal habitat, not even close. This is an unprecedented notion and could lead to unprecedented human well-being.

Mission

The next phase of ecodesign and harmonode developments will be of integration and systemic expansion, moving from few and isolated instances to more broadly visible and impactful regional industries and infrastructure systems.

Collaborating with sector and industry leaders, Firestick Creative helps people find solidarity and leverage their cooperation to build ecological economies that better meet their needs.

This work is done primarily through the Harmonode Campaign.
